Transcript Requests

Official transcripts will be sent directly to the admissions office or location of your choice. CURRENT STUDENTS: You are eligible to receive (5) Official Transcripts at no charge. There will be a fee for each additional transcript. 

Unofficial transcripts may be ordered from your Parchment account and sent to you by email. This cannot be used as your "official" transcript, but we highly encourage each student to order a copy of their transcript to view prior to sending the transcript out to colleges.

• 1st TIP: Want to see if your transcript order has been completed? Log in to Parchment and click on the "ORDERS" menu at the top of the screen.

• 2nd TIP: If applying to colleges via Common App - you only need to order ONE transcript directly to Common App. Chat with your counselor if you have questions.

• 3rd TIP: Allow 2 school days for processing for all transcripts. Be sure to keep this in mind when considering college deadlines, and prior to school holidays.

• 4th TIP: When requesting mid-year grades (that include Semester 1 of Senior Year), you must mark "HOLD FOR GRADES" during the ordering process in Parchment. Seniors can order a final transcript to their college or destination of choice before graduation by selecting 'Hold for Grades'. Transcripts will be released once final grades are posted, and not before.

• Please note: An outstanding fine on your LHS account will not prevent you from requesting a transcript through Parchment, but LHS will not be able to release your FINAL HIGH SCHOOL transcript in June until all fines are resolved.

• It is your responsibility to confirm with your college that all documents, including your transcript, have been received. IHS staff are not responsible for confirming that your college has received necessary documents.  We strongly encourage all students to double check that all documents have been received prior to any application deadlines.  

• Summer Transcript Requests: Need to order a transcript over the summer break? No worries! Orders will be approved and processed through the Issaquah School District Student Information Service office over the summer break. Please allow extra time for processing during summer months.

Important Note about COVID Closure, Impact and Grading: During the closure of public schools mandated by our Governor in March of 2020, and given the grading parameters set forth at that time by the Superintendent of Public Instruction, Chris Reykdal, the Issaquah School District made the decision to offer students letter grades—A, B, C and D—or an incomplete. (OSPI did not allow Fs or NC grades.) All students enrolled in high school level courses in the district at that time received the letter grade they earned at the time of the closure or higher based on their continued participation in their courses, or they earned an incomplete, and were given the opportunity to replace that incomplete with a letter grade. The opportunities included retaking the class, summer school, credit recovery courses, successfully completing higher level coursework, and more. Class of 2020 students who were on track at time of school closure, and students in classes of 2021, 2022, and 2023 who were on track to graduate at the start of their senior year who experienced COVID-related impact to their education may have been eligible to have certain graduation requirements waived with a V grade code. Issaquah School District follows the State Board of Education’s rules when applying those V codes to eligible seniors’ transcripts. A V grade on the transcript indicates that the graduation requirement was waived in accordance with the State Board of Education emergency rules.
