Liberty DECA Students Earn Global Recognition at International Competition

Liberty DECA continues to establish itself as one of the top-performing DECA chapters in the region, showcasing excellence in business, marketing, finance, hospitality, and leadership on the international stage. Eight students earned medalist honors, placing in the top 20 globally while competing against students from around the world, including representatives from Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico, and Guam. In addition, five Liberty students advanced as event finalists, with four earning top-10 finishes in the world.

Among the chapter’s top accomplishments:

  • Ahbi Binil — Semi-Finalist
  • Nabeel Fiazel — Semi-Finalist
  • Victoria Tran — Semi-Finalist
  • Sidney Callihan — Finalist, Top 20 in the World
  • Shreyas Kolwalkar — 8th Place in the World
  • Shreya Sahai — 7th Place in the World
  • Charlotte Soliven & Marlee La Madrid — 3rd Place in the World and DECA Glass Winners

Beyond competition, students connected with peers from across the globe and participated in leadership and networking experiences at venues including the Georgia Aquarium, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and other attractions throughout the Atlanta area.

Liberty DECA proudly celebrates these accomplishments and looks forward to continuing this momentum in the year ahead.
