February Rotary Students of the Month
Please join us in recognizing two of our outstanding seniors, Nicholas Grabowski and Neha Suresh. They will be honored as the LHS Rotary Students of the Month for Leadership on Tuesday, February 28th.
Michelle Munson was excited to nominate Nicholas Grabowski on behalf of ASB. “Nicholas has been an officer of the Liberty ASB program, currently serving on the Executive Board, for four years. He exemplifies what it is to be a leader with his commitment, dedication, passion for his beliefs, inclusiveness, and willingness to challenge the status quo. His personal growth as a leader has been instrumental in encouraging others to step outside their own comfort zones. Nicholas is a servant leader at heart and a strong role model for his peers.”
Matt Spears was happy to recognize Neha Suresh on behalf of our NJROTC. Matt notes, “Neha has worked extremely hard to become a positive example and role model for not just NJROTC cadets, but all Liberty High School Students. To achieve the rank of Cadet Chief Petty Officer, she took and passed a comprehensive written exam and an extensive oral board. Her dedication and efforts led her to selection as one of five cadet platoon (class) leaders. In that role, Neha has been a real leader and motivating others to success. She has done an exemplary job leading 20 cadets in all facets of NJROTC to include uniform wear, general military knowledge, fitness, and drill. During the first semester, her platoon devoted over 375 hours of service to the local community, the highest total of all platoons. Neha is also an integral member of the Patriot Company Academic Team. To date, she has helped the team to two first place finishes in this year’s competition season and has them on track to compete in the conference championships. Resulting from her outstanding performance, she was recently promoted to the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Junior Grade and assigned the position of unit Operations Officer. Here, she plans, deconflicts, and ensures the execution of company’s weekly routine and key events. Her unbeatable character, personality and integrity have helped her earn the respect of her fellow cadets and the NJROTC instructors.”
Congratulations Nicholas and Neha, we’re excited for your future!
