Patriot Crew New Student Orientation is an opportunity for incoming freshmen and students new to Liberty to feel welcomed, learn their way around the school, and start building connections with peers and staff before the school year begins. 

We are moving new student orientation to the first day of school to ensure greater equity and accessibility for all students. By hosting orientation during the regular school day, we can provide district bus transportation, removing barriers for families who may not have been able to attend an earlier event due to work schedules or lack of transportation. This change helps ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to participate, feel welcomed, and start the year with the information and support they need to succeed. 

 

Incoming Freshmen and New to Liberty Students: 

Gear up for the 2024-2025 school year and be part of an amazing orientation to Liberty!  If your incoming student is getting ready for their first year with us, we invite them to experience the Patriot Crew Orientation on the first day of school, Thursday, August 28, from 8:00 – 10:30. 

Patriot Crew is a high-school transition program that welcomes freshmen AND new students and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. This is your chance to get comfortable with your new school, meet your classmates, and start the year off strong. You’ll go on a tour to learn your way around the building, play some fun games, and take part in get-to-know-you activities designed to help you make new friends. It’s a great way to break the ice, ask questions, and feel more confident about the first day of school. We’re so excited to welcome you and can’t wait to kick off a great year together! New students who are not freshmen are also being invited to participate and included into the school with special programming just for them. We will connect every incoming student with a PC Leader and are counting on each incoming student’s attendance.   

Returning 10^th – 12^th Graders 

Hey returning 10th–12th graders! You’re scheduled to arrive at 10:30 AM, so enjoy the extra sleep! However, if you want to come early or ride the bus, we’ll have some fun activities starting at 8:00 AM and you’re welcome to join. Whether you’re in the mood for some games, snacks, or just hanging out, it’ll be a great time to ease back into the school spirit before the main event kicks off. See you there!
