Course Selection for the 2023-24 School Year begins March 1st

course request process

Hello Liberty Families

As we approach finals and second semester, it will soon be time to start thinking about courses for next year. As we do each spring, we will be running our Course Request Process (or CRP) beginning March 1st and ending on March 14th. During this window, students will be able to request the courses they would like to take for the coming school year. After that window is closed, our Counseling team will review the schedules to make sure students have everything they need in order to be on track to graduate. Once that has taken place, we will begin the task of putting together our “Anchor” Schedule which will be the framework for next school year.

Incoming 9th graders (current 8th graders), will be going through this same process at their respective middle schools. Prior to the start of the CRP, LHS counselors will be visiting the middle schools during lunches to meet with students and help to answer any questions they might have. For the parents of incoming 9th graders, we will be having our Incoming Freshmen Night here at Liberty High School on March 7th, beginning at 6:00pm. This will be an opportunity for families to meet with counselors, ask questions, and learn more about the different programs we offer here at Liberty.

As we get closer to March, we will share out more information and resources. Please be on the lookout for those updates in the weeks ahead.
