Course Request for the 2025-2026 School Year - Closes March 21
We are getting ready for the 2025-2026 school year! During Homeroom this week, students received information about the course request process.
The Course Request window will be open from March 5th - March 21st. Counselors will be holding open times for students during lunches in the Library every day through March 21st to answer course selection questions. We will not be scheduling individual appointments for students and families during this busy time.
All information is available on the LHS Counseling website. Students also have access to this information in their Canvas accounts (School Counseling is available in the Canvas Commons).
To help students prepare for choosing classes, we recommend downloading the CRP worksheets for their class available on the website and reviewing the Liberty High School online Course Guide. The guide helps students to understand the learning recommendations of their selections. Once students have reviewed all of the information and feel confident in their choices, they are ready to log on to Skyward Student Access to request classes for next year.
Some key things to remember as you consider courses for the 2025-2026 school year:
- Check to be sure you are on track with Graduation Requirements by looking at your graduation requirements tab in Skyward and reviewing the CRP worksheet for your class.
- Find areas of interest to explore!
- Focus on Balance! We encourage each student to challenge themselves and to pursue their goals, and it is also critical that all students find a healthy balance with academics, family, activities, sports, and their personal health.
- The key resources to pay attention to are:
- The LHS Counseling Web Site
